Executive Assistant on political to the Delta State Governor and founder OMO foundation, Dr. Oritsegbegbemi Maurice Ojoede, has applauded the Delta State Governor Sheriff Oborevwori, for flagging off the reconstruction of the Warri–Sapele–Benin Road.
In a statement personally signed and made available to journalists, Dr. Ojoede, described the project as a major relief for motorists who have suffered over the years on the deplorable road.

He said the project represents a renewed hope for Deltans and a testament to the Governor’s people-oriented leadership, noting that the Warri–Sapele–Benin highway serves as a key link connecting several states across the country.
“This project will ease movement for everyone traveling through the South-South and beyond; and It will boost business activities across the country. I therefore commend our amiable Governor, Rt. Hon. (Elder) Sherriff Oborevwori for his proactive governance. May God continue to bless him for us”, he said.
Dr. Ojoede further commended the choice of China Civil Engineering Construction Corporation (CCECC) as the contractor, expressing confidence in their capacity to deliver within the stipulated 12 months and to the highest quality standard.
The project, which spans 10 kilometres, features dual carriageways with reinforced concrete pavement, expanded shoulders, and comprehensive stormwater drainage systems, ensuring durability and road user safety. Each lane will measure 8.8 metres wide, far exceeding the conventional 7.3-metre standard.
