Uduere Community Debunks Jaro Egbo’s Publication against them

The people of Uduere Community in Ughelli North local government area, has debunked a publication made by the Council Chairman of Ughelli North Local government area, Barr. Jaro Egbo over comments made against the people of Uduere Community over an Abovwe Quarter internal issue.

In a statement signed by leaders of the three quarters, said the issue is an Abovwe Quarter internal issue which does not in anyway include the rest of Uduere Community as to warrant the alleged ‘waging of war against Uduere Community.

The statement reads in parts; “Our attention has been drawn to above captioned news item that has been over the internet since on Sunday. We, the entire Uduere Community, hereby debunk the news item in totality.”

“For the avoidance of doubt, we have no problem whatsoever with our prominent son, Olorogun Jaro Egbo Ksc, by the grace of God, the Chairman of Ughelli North L.G.A.

They explained that; “What is happening at Abovwe, one of the 3 Quarters of Uduere Community, Ughelli, is the allegations against Mr. Gowon Egoide, Barr. Peter Atebefia Egbo and some others, of having sold Abovwe several Acres of family land, without family approval, and not giving account. ”

“It’s an Abovwe Quarter internal issue which does not in anyway include the rest of Uduere Community as to warrant the alleged ‘waging of war against Uduere Community’, which never happened.”

No doubt we can not deny that on Sunday there were some issues that flowed from Abovwe as already mentioned earlier, but definitely has nothing to do with the Uduere as to warrant the headline, and the imaginary ‘news’ aljaziraotitipress,wordpress.com pushed out into the internet as News.

Definitely, he was no where near Uduere on Sunday, but clearly published what his paymaster sent to him.

He did not even pretend, as Professional Ethics demands, to verify the information sent to him. And to confirm our position, yesterday the prominent Ughelli Chiefs, (Ilorogun) led by the respected Most Senior Olorogun Miller Uloho, invited the parties and resolved the issues. Nobody from either Achopho or Eyavwien Quarters, the 2 other Quarters of Uduere was invited to the meeting, or made contribution to discussion and decision. A clear testimony that the matter was purely an Abovwe affair.

“For the avoidance of doubt, we state categorically that our son, Olorogun Jaro Egbo Ksc, has been a strong source of support for the Uduere Community long before he became the chairman of Ughelli North L.G.A, hence the Community honoured and celebrated him with a rousing and colorful reception ceremony, well attended by Uduere sons and daughters and well wishers, on November 2nd, 2024.

“Once again, we sound it clear and loud, we have implicit confidence in our son, Olorogun Jaro Egbo Ksc, the Honourable Chairman of Ughelli North L.G.A, and declare openly to the whole world that Uduere Community has no issue with our son”.
