The Oritsegbegbemi Maurice OjoEde OMO Foundation continues to make a lasting impact on humanity through its purposeful interventions in line with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
In its recent outreach to the good people of Koko community in Warri North LGA, Delta State, the foundation demonstrated its unwavering commitment to promoting safety, empowerment, and inclusivity.
By providing walkie-talkies to the vigilante group, the foundation strengthened community security and peace (SDG 16: Peace, Justice and Strong Institutions). The donation of helmets and reflective vests to commercial motorcyclists enhanced road safety and promotes decent working conditions (SDG 8: Decent Work and Economic Growth). Likewise, the support to fishermen with nets and hooks to empowere local livelihoods and encourage sustainable economic growth (SDG 1: No Poverty and SDG 2: Zero Hunger).
Furthermore, the presentation of a wheelchair reflected the foundation’s dedication to inclusion and well-being for all (SDG 3: Good Health and Well-being and SDG 10: Reduced Inequalities), while the distribution of free grant forms opened doors for individuals to access opportunities that drive innovation, entrepreneurship, and self-reliance.
Through these acts of compassion and empowerment, the OMO Foundation has continued to embody the true spirit of humanity, creating pathways for sustainable growth, dignity, and shared prosperity for all.
