Delta APC Founding Leader and Chairman of the Delta APC Peace and Reconciliation Committee, Olorogun O’tega Emerhor OON, has extended his heartfelt congratulations to the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, His Excellency, Asiwaju Ahmed Bola Tinubu, on the occasion of his 73rd birthday.

In a personally signed statement, Emerhor praised President Tinubu as a pragmatic leader who embodies the qualities Nigeria needs to thrive.

He recalled his congratulatory message to the President in June 2022 following his victory in the APC primaries, where he described Tinubu as “The Man for These Times.” According to Emerhor, Tinubu was the most capable leader to address Nigeria’s multifaceted challenges, including economic revival, security, infrastructure development, and national unity. He lauded Tinubu’s past achievements in Lagos State as a testament to his ability to transform Nigeria.

Reflecting on Tinubu’s nearly two years in office, Emerhor asserted that his earlier statement has proven prophetic. He highlighted the President’s bold decisions on fuel subsidy removal and the floating of the Naira, as well as significant infrastructural advancements and decisive action against insecurity. According to Emerhor, Nigeria is now on the right track, moving toward a brighter future where the nation’s prosperity is within reach.

Emerhor commended Tinubu for his remarkable achievements so far and called on Nigerians from all walks of life to support the President’s vision for a better Nigeria. He expressed confidence in Tinubu’s leadership and urged continued cooperation from the citizenry to realize the nation’s collective aspirations.

As the former Director of the Directorate of South-South Mobilization for Tinubu’s 2023 Presidential Campaign, Emerhor concluded by offering prayers for the President’s good health, long life, increased strength, and wisdom in steering the affairs of the nation.

According to him; “Now, as Mr President celebrates his 73rd birthday after under 2 years in the saddle, Emerhor stated that his words have become prophetic. That we are now in Nigeria that is back on the right track. From Mr President’s bold and courageous decisions on fuel subsidy to floating the Naira, from massive infrastructural developments to frontal attacks on insecurity, Nigeria is clearly back on track and currently primed to experiencing a new lease of living. Nigeria is clearly at the end of the tunnel, and the light of hope and success has never been brighter.”
