Uvwie — The political atmosphere in Delta State was aglow over the weekend as Chief Solomon Ighrakpata, Chairman of the Delta State Board of Internal Revenue, hosted an impressive gathering of All Progressives Congress (APC) members both at home and in the diaspora.

The event, which took place in Uvwie Local Government Area, was described by attendees as a timely convergence aimed at strengthening the bond among party members and fostering unity within the APC family.

In attendance was the Honourable Minister of Aviation and Aerospace Development, Chief Festus Keyamo, SAN, whose presence added prestige to the occasion. The Minister, known for his unwavering commitment to party ideals, lauded the efforts of Chief Ighrakpata in promoting cohesion within the party at the grassroots level.

Also gracing the event was the Executive Chairman of Uvwie Local Government Council, alongside former House of Representatives member, Hon. Evelyn Oboro. Their presence underscored the broad-based support Chief Ighrakpata enjoys from both past and present public office holders within the APC structure in Delta State.

Chief Solomon Ighrakpata, in his remarks, expressed profound gratitude to party faithfuls for their continuous support and dedication to the party’s vision. According to him, unity remains the bedrock of sustainable political development.

The revered tax administrator emphasized that his service transcends personal ambition and is firmly rooted in ensuring that APC becomes the preferred political platform in Delta State.
