Former Kano State Governor Abdullahi Ganduje has announced his resignation as the national chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), citing health reasons for his decision.

Ganduje emphasized the need to prioritize his well-being and attend to personal health matters.

The party is set to appoint the national vice chairman as an interim replacement for Ganduje until a convention can be convened in December to elect a new chairman.

His resignation has prompted discussions about the leadership transition within the APC and its implications for the party’s future activities and strategies.
