Majemite to Opposition Parties in Delta: No Vacancy in Osadebey House till 2031

A former Commissioner for Lands and Survey, Delta State and  bigwig of Peoples’ Democratic Party (PDP) in Ughelli north and Delta State as a whole, Olorogun (Barr.) Fred Okiemute Majemite on Sunday advised those aspiring to occupy the Delta State Government House come 2027 not to waste their time and resources.

According to him, “There is no vacancy in Dennis Osadebey House until 2031, PDP is Delta State and Delta State is PDP, he said.

Specifically, Majemite advised members of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), All Progressives Congress (APC), Labour Party (LP) and others nursing the ambition to occupy the Delta State Government not to dissipate their energies chasing shadows.

Majemite who spoke at the stakeholders meeting of the PDP, Ughelli ward 1/5 at his Ughelli residence expressed delight at the achievements of Governor Sheriff Oborevwori.

He thanked the governor for giving beneficial leadership in the state and rekindling the specific interest of the business community in Nigeria and the general interest of the international community in the development of the state.

“When we look at the scorecard of Governor Oborevwori, what readily comes to mind is how he has performed. The administration’s programmes are felt in the three senatorial districts. Governor Oborevwori has relentlessly pursued a vigorous policy for provision of social facilities and infrastructure”.

Majemite debunked defection rumour by governor Oborevwori to APC described it as baseless and unfounded. He called on Deltans to queue and support Governor Sheriff Oborevwori to unravel his M.O.R.E AGENDA for Delta State.

Responding to his Senatorial ambition, he said, the emphasis for now Governor Sheriff Oborevwori to secure the seat for second tenure and at the appropriate time I will unfold my aspiration for Deltans.
