Okpobor, Convener of Okugbe Isoko Empowers Over 300 Individuals in Isoko Nation

Chief Oghenekome Okpobor, Executive Director of Finance and Administration at DESOPADEC and Convener of Okugbe Isoko for Sheriff, has made a significant impact in Isoko Nation by empowering over 300 individuals through a financial assistance initiative.

The program, which was held at the Isoko Unity Hall in Oleh, provided cash gifts of N100,000 each to beneficiaries randomly selected from the 24 electoral wards in Isoko North and South Local Government Areas.

During the event, Chief Okpobor emphasized the importance of supporting Governor Sheriff Oborevwori’s Renewed Hope for More Agenda and the progressive agenda of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Delta State. He urged the beneficiaries to utilize the financial assistance wisely to expand their businesses and generate more profits.

Notable attendees who commended Chief Okpobor for his noble gesture included Hon. (Elder) Prince Godwin Ogorugba, Chairman of Isoko North Local Government Area, and Hon. Emmanuel Egbabor, former Chairman of Isoko North Local Government Council. Other prominent figures in attendance were Hon. Chief Frank Esiwo Ozue, Executive Assistant to the Governor on Political Matters and Director General of Okugbe Isoko for Sheriff, and Chief Erezi Okpomo, Executive Assistant to Governor Oborevwori on Beautification.

Chief Frank Ozue praised Chief Okpobor for his initiative, describing him as a true and noble son of Isoko Nation. Chief Erezi Okpomo, meanwhile, urged the beneficiaries to support Governor Oborevwori’s 2027 election bid, highlighting the governor’s contributions to Isoko Nation.

Beneficiaries, including Mrs. Christiana Ogaga from Owhelogbo, expressed their gratitude to Chief Okpobor and Okugbe Isoko for Sheriff. Mrs. Ogaga prayed for Chief Okpobor’s continued success and encouraged others to emulate his kind gesture.

The event was also attended by Hon. Emakpor Odogu, Executive Assistant to the Governor on Community Development and Spokesman of Okugbe Isoko for Sheriff, who commended Chief Okpobor for his leadership and urged Isoko Nation to unite behind Governor Oborevwori’s Renewed Hope Agenda.
